GUELPH – The reunion committee for nine Guelph Township Public Schools held a reunion on June 1 at the Guelph Curling Club.

GUELPH – Guelph Pride, the Guelph Youth Music Centre (GYMC), and the Children’s Reading Room are partnering to present “Fay & Fluffy, a Drag Storytime and Singalong.” 

GUELPH – The Grove Youth Hubs in Guelph and Wellington County have seen 32,000 youth enter their doors in the past year. Not quite that many people entered the doors of the newest Grove hub in Guelph for an open house on June 5, but it was still a revolving door at the facility.

GUELPH – Dr. Nicola Mercer has expressed concern about the province’s recent move to allow the sale of beer and wine at convenience stores. She noted 8,500 new stores in the province will be able to sell alcohol as of Sept. 5, “and it is likely we will see an increase in alcohol harms."

GUELPH – About 450 hikers participated in the 20th Hike for Hospice in support of Hospice Wellington on June 2.
