WELLINGTON COUNTY - Residents in 674 homes in Inverhaugh, Ponsonby and Ariss now have access to fast, reliable internet service, after the completion of a $2.7-million broadband infrastructure project.

WELLINGTON COUNTY  – Local municipalities will receive almost $5.9 million from the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund in 2021. The $200-million fund helps small, rural and northern communities build and repair roads, bridges, water and wastewater infrastructure.

GUELPH – The man who set a string of fires in Erin and Guelph-Eramosa in 2016 and 2017, has been sentenced. Justin Beal, 31, was sentenced on Jan. 14 by Justice Bruce Durno in Guelph’s Superior Court.
