ERIN – On June 15, Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) hosted its “Friends of the Credit” event.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Wellington County fire departments have lifted a partial fire ban in the municipalities of Minto, Mapleton, Wellington North, Centre Wellington, Erin, Puslinch and Guelph/Eramosa.

ERIN – Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the the scene, on Wellington Road 125 at Halton-Erin Townline, on June 15 at about 5pm.

ERIN - The over-budget replacement of an arched, double culvert running beneath 17th Sideroad in Erin is being blamed on inflation and environmental requirements, requiring a single-span bridge at a cost of at least $2.12 million.

Special Olympics athletes Jennifer Allen and Marc Richardson are representing Team Canada in the 2023 World Games in Berlin, Germany.

ERIN – On June 8 at Erin town hall, the developer behind a 799-unit subdivision proposal in Hillsburgh heard from around 25 Erin residents concerned with the development's potential effects on the village.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Starting Friday, masks are no longer required at the three hospitals in Wellington County. Patients, staff and visitors are now encouraged - but not required - to wear masks.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Public health officials say the air quality in the region is "high risk" and area residents should take precautions – at least for the next few days.
