ERIN – Organizers and town officials say the inaugural Erin Pride event at McMillan Park on June 22 was a remarkable success.

ERIN – Downtown Erin was buzzing with activity on June 8, with local stores  showcasing their latest style and gift offerings during the Chamber of Commerce’s Erin Summer Jam.

ERIN – The town is turning to local business owners for ideas on how to best utilize $30,000 remaining in a reserve fund aimed at helping residents and businesses during the construction of the municipality’s wastewater treatment plant.

ERIN – An Erin man is in life-threatening condition after he was struck by a vehicle here early on Saturday. Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the scene, on Wellington Road 124 west of Erin, at about 5am on June 15.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Local police recently dealt with two incidents involving a gun – one ending with the arrest of a suspected drug dealer and the other with at least one shot fired at a parked vehicle.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – MusicFest Canada adjudicators awarded gold to the Erin District High School Tempo concert band, the Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute string and orchestra ensembles, and the Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute symphonic, concert and acoustic ensembles.

ERIN – The Upper Credit Humane Society (UCHS) will be hosting a fundraiser for a new home on June 22 from 10am to 3pm.
