Rona employee dead after being hit by customer’s vehicle
ELORA – A Rona employee is dead after being hit by a vehicle while at work on Saturday. Emergency crews were called to the business, located on Wellington Road 18 across from the Elora Quarry, at about 3:15pm.
GRCA installing warning booms and buoys at dams
WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Grand River Conservation Authority will be installing warning booms or buoys upstream of dams to alert paddlers, anglers and boaters to stay away.
Elora Lions offer something to wine about
ELORA – The Elora Lions Club is presenting its second winemakers dinner on April 20 at the GrandWay Events Centre and organizer Josef Van den Borre is confident this year’s event will net the charity more than the $3,000 it raised last year to benefit Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
