FERGUS - Beatles tribute band The Liverpool 4 played the Fergus Grand Theatre on March 29, singing many of the songs and sharing the story of the band that arguably changed the world.

FERGUS – They don’t just look like June Carter and Johnny Cash, the tribute band We Walk the Line played the Fergus Grand Theatre on April 13 and they also sounded like the Man in Black and his wife.

FERGUS - The familiar tunes of Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) performed by Green Water Revival rang through the Fergus Grand Theatre on April 12.

WELLINGTON COUNTY - A new roundabout is currently being constructed at Wellington Road 7 and First Line (Elora)  with completion planned for the end of August.  

ELORA – The annual spring Elora Antique Show, presented by Antique Shows Canada, attracted 2,340 visitors to the Jefferson Community Centre on April 13 and 14. 

CENTRE WELLINGTON – On April 13, the Friends of Grand River met at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex in Fergus before heading off in the brisk wind for a garbage cleanup along Wellington Road 18.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Council came away with a clearer picture of what the South Fergus development will look like and what it will be like to live there after a special committee of the whole meeting on April 15.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Organizers of the annual Waddies Classic are pulling out all the stops for this year’s event, to be held on May 25. There are more teams, more prize money, a new venue, and new this year, a live concert to wrap up the day.
