Four recent overdose deaths reported in Guelph, Wellington County
WELLINGTON COUNTY – Four overdose deaths have been reported over the last week in the Guelph, Rockwood, Elora and Arthur areas. Fentanyl is believed to be involved these deaths, which may suggest a stronger than normal substance is circulating in the community, public health officials stated.

ABOYNE – A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Wellington Terrace Long-Term Care Home after an essential caregiver for a resident tested positive for the virus. County officials say the individual, last in the building on Feb. 21, is asymptomatic and in isolation at home.
