ABOYNE – Staff uptake of COVID-19 vaccines at the Wellington Terrace Long-Term Care Home is slightly better than the province-wide average and much better than alarmingly low levels reported in some regions.

ELORA – When passerby Debbie Reynolds spotted a small explosion at Richard and Nicole Sawyer-Hill’s heritage home on Church Street in Elora, she quickly alerted the homeowner, who was then able to call the fire department.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – As of March 24, 12 schools in the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDGPH) region, including two in Wellington County, are reporting active COVID-19 cases.

FERGUS – Police are looking for help to find the person(s) responsible for "homophobic" and "derogatory" graffiti on several buildings here. Wellington County OPP responded to multiple reports of mischief to buildings and vehicles located in downtown Fergus on March 23.
