ABOYNE – The classic car show at the Wellington County Museum and Archives, held on Aug. 25, was a hit with car lovers of every description.

FERGUS – Wellington Pregnancy Care Centre recently received a grant of $1,000 from the Fergus Walmart for the organization’s programs to support anyone experiencing an unexpected pregnancy or challenges as a new parent.

ELORA – Luisa Krause knows that people often wait to sign up for charity golf tournaments to see what weather or other events might come along.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Fergus Grand Theatre’s 2024-2025 presenting series launches on Sept. 28 with Ashara, a blend of traditional Scottish folk and Jamaican reggae from visionary artist Jason Wilson.

FERGUS – It was a packed house as Playful Fox Productions staged its version of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on Aug. 23 at the Fergus Grand Theatre.

ELORA – Talk about opening a can of worms. Maria Christina O’Neill would likely prefer a can of worms to the home full of termites she unwittingly bought in Elora in 2020.

ELORA – Luisa Krause knows that people often wait to sign up for charity golf tournaments to see what weather or other events might come along. But the date for the golf tournament in support of Elora House is fast approaching and Krause, executive director, will soon need to get firm numbers.

FERGUS – The first ever Kidstock Fergus event is set for Sept. 29 from 12 to 4pm in downtown Fergus.
