ELORA – Centre Wellington council members have voted themselves a hefty raise next year: 18% for councillors and 13% for the mayor.

FERGUS – Haudenosaunee people from the Six Nations of the Grand River walked through Fergus on Sept. 22, alongside local allies, to build relationships and spread awareness about the Haldimand Proclamation.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Due to a recent rise in COVID-19 cases, masks will once again be required at all three hospitals in the county. Officials are asking visitors to be kind to health care workers, "especially when they ask you to wear a mask."

WELLINGTON COUNTY – With the arrival of cold and flu season, public health is changing the way it reports cases of respiratory illnesses. On Sept. 19, WDGPH launched a new portal that combines reporting on flu, RSV and COVID-19.
