The Ultimate Canadian Expedition Lottery is the ticket to explore Canada.
There are 1,000 tickets, two trips of a lifetime, three epic packages and one community to build a world where everyone has a safe and affordable place to call home.
Like its most ambitious build to date, Cityview Village, a 28-unit affordable housing development in Guelph, Habitat is planning on hosting the region’s “most epic” lottery in support of local builds, officials state.
Habitat’s Ultimate Great Canadian Expedition Lottery and Draw party offers the opportunity to come together to support the Cityview Village build.
Community members will be able purchase one (or more) of 1,000 lottery tickets giving them the chance to win a trip of a lifetime to Halifax or Vancouver on the famous VIA Rail glass-domed train, or one of the Canadian themed land, water or snow prize packages.
“We’re so excited to host our first epic lottery,” said Steve Howard, CEO.
“This event will be a celebration of Habitat, of our local communities and of Canada – it’s your ticket to explore your home.”
Director Amber Wood, added, “It takes community to build a village.
“With the support of local businesses and community members we can continue to build safe, affordable homes for those in need. Because everyone deserves a place to call home.
“Our supporters have the power to make a difference – and you can too. With the purchase of a lottery ticket you have the power to make a difference in the lives of those we serve. You also have a chance to win some great prizes.”
The lottery began in June and continues to Nov. 9.
On Nov. 10 at the Italian Canadian Centre Habitat will host an exclusive lottery draw party to find out the lucky winners of the Vancouver and Halifax trips and the three prize packages.

Lottery tickets are $75 each and include the ticket and exclusive entry to the Canadian themed lottery draw party.
