Giving spirit – Jessica Paynter hopes her three daughters will come out of the pandemic with a stronger sense of charity and desire to give back to the community. Based on their actions before Christmas, they are well on their way.
The three sisters – Makenzie Paynter, 15, Cadence Strongman, 10 and Leah Strongman, 8 (above with their mother) – bought some craft supplies, made and then delivered cards to staff and patients at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
“Normally we do something charity-related at Christmas,” Jessica Paynter told the Advertiser. “This year was different so the girls decided to make cards. We received an email (from hospital staff) thanking us. They said they loved the cards.”
