WELLINGTON COUNTY – On Feb. 18 the Elora 4-H “Home for the Holidays” club got together at the Fraser household for its second meeting. Members learned about the origins of the Family Day holiday and its importance to families.
Members crafted photo boards to display family photos. The meeting finished with hot chocolate and smores.
The first meeting of the Wellington 4-H Square Dancing club took place on Feb. 7 at the Ennotville Library with members practicing their two-step and learning new dances, including “Push Ma and Shove Pa.”
The club is preparing to demonstrate the new moves at the University of Guelph College Royal Competition on March 18 and are inviting all to attend.
