Lions at work - About 15 members of the Mount Forest Lions Club participated in a local road clean up on Oct. 19. “We had some great fall weather to clean up Highway 6 north to the north end of Plumeville,” organizers note. The parks in town were looked after as well by Shae Grace and his two daughters. Highway 89 East was done as well this year. Members also cleaned up Highway 6 south from the town limits to Concession 3. The volunteers collected 16 bags of garbage, some metal pieces, one hub cap, a portion of a re-tread tire from a truck, as well as a number of discarded beer bottles and cans. Organizers thanked all 15 who participated in the cleanup. Submitted photo
