PALMERSTON – The Minto Farmers’ Market is bringing the Palmerston Library and other activities to the market on Aug. 19, from 9am to 12pm.
Bring the kids and enjoy a sunny Saturday morning at the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum, officials urge.
Youngsters can gather at around 9:30am for story time with staff from the Palmerston Library, followed by crafts and activities.
Starting at 10am, there will also be live, local music by Bernie Hale and free face-painting by Tegwyn Kelly.
As always on Market days, kids can take a ride on the town’s tiny train or the museum’s handcar, and all are welcome to try out the outdoor lawn games.
There will also be coffee and lemonade available by donation and market vendors will be on hand with local produce, meats, preserves and artisan goods.
All activities are free.
