Dear Editor:
RE: Sad case, Dec. 5.
I would like to correct a misconception that is apparent in John Burger’s response to my previous letter, in which I noted that an analysis of the first 469 of 11,000-plus “scientists” who declared a climate emergency, revealed that there were only 14 listed as scientists.
Burger appears to think that Ezra Levant was the one who did the analysis. In fact, the in-depth analysis was done by someone completely unrelated … For some reason, the editor left the website address out of my letter.
The analyst also found that fewer than 25 of the 469 appeared to have relevant credentials. He found that even of those whose profession was listed as scientist or professor, most were in a completely unrelated field to understanding the basis of the climate change hypothesis.
Henry Brunsveld,
Puslinch
