RE: “Disgraceful” and “Appalled”, March 26.
For those offended by the “Thanks China” sign in Elora; a little sanity please.
Facts are not racist. The pandemic started in China, in fact the last three have. China lied about and covered it up for two months before somewhat admitting to it (they still blame the U.S.).
The high death rate in Italy has been traced to two infected Chinese tourists. Thousands have died, millions are confined to their homes and economies and lives entirely disrupted.
So yes, thank you, China. To complain about division and racism while this is going is beyond the pale. Political correctness kills. It is time we held the amoral Communist regime in China accountable for its actions.
