Dear Editor,
I writing in to thank the many people who have made comments about The Horizon Restaurant. I was recently let go
from this establishment. You see I have a tattoo located on the right inside wrist. It is memory of my sister I lost to a tragedy. I was asked to cover it, which I did and still he was not satisfied. I was never late nor did I miss a shift. I do think that this is decimation. I think that this is bigotry. And I don’t think in 2016 this should be allowed. I also was disgusted to see the ad in The Wellington Advertiser. This just added insult to injury. Everybody has their right to their opinion, however this is like asking about someone’s religion, martial status, or disability. This is a way of life now. He needs to be educated. And this should be illegal.
