It is astonishing and disappointing that the Ontario Liberals are moving forward with carbon pricing. The government has an issue to deal with? Taxes, taxes, taxes! Tax and spend is not a prudent fiscal policy. The Drive Clean program is a prime example of government ineptitude. Drive Clean needs to be abolished yet the Liberals feel entitled to dip into our pockets again and again; difficult to give up a cash cow like that. I support actions to protect the environment, however, when programs such as Drive Clean are applied to only selected territories, this is ludicrous and unfair. Perhaps I should just hand my paycheck directly to Premier Wynne & the Liberals? They seem to enjoy spending the money I earned on their foolish schemes. Gas plant scandal, anyone?
