I wonder how many property tax paying residents of Palmerston were as surprised as I was to see our town snow plows running up and down our streets on Jan 1st at 6 a.m. Especially considering that there was no snow to plow. Why are we paying people double time and a half to do unnecessary works? It would seem this is just another clear example of the lack of respect for taxpayers’ dollars.
