Re: Mr. Trautman’s Letter
I have read Mr. Trautman’s letter regarding a character analysis of General LeMay. It is very interesting. Mr. Trautman’s analogy is probably correct; however, it should
be mentioned that Japan threw the first stone, making them
accessory to their own destruction. And if this decision by
Japan suddenly seemed imprudent, then all the bombing and
all the needless carnage could have been curtailed with
two words.
