To Stephen Thorning, Bread delivery man killed at Elora railway station in 1929

I just wanted to write you a note to thank you for write this article -this was the story of my great grandfather – I had known that he was the baker of many wonderful wedding cakes and had died on delivery – but not much else about him – his second daughter was my grand mother who was also a wonderful home baker – I have forward this article on to some of our family so they can read it.

For your info the family is bury in elora cemetery under Dobbie, Darragh, Whitlock – his oldest daughter jean Whitlock was 99 when she passed – my grandmother was 80 and his youngest daughter was mid 80’s the only one not bury there – there was a boy born second in line but died at birth

Thank you for the article
