A HUGE thank-you to local businesses!! On Dec. 31st my husband and I ran a 3 on 3 tournament for CW local league hockey. This is an extremely fun tournament where you can create your own team and play with friends. For the first time this year I approached local businesses and asked them to donate prizes for the players. The generosity was over whelming. We would like to thank: Elite Hockey Development Ltd., The Zone Training, One on One Hockey Training, Advanced Hockey Training, The Guelph Storm, Snider Skate Pro Shop, Centre Wellington Sports, Premium Sportswear, CW Parks and Recreation, Pizza Delight, New Orleans Pizza, Little Caesars Pizza, Dairy Queen, Harvey’s, I Love Chocolate, Canadian Tire, Roxanne Reflections, Cherry Hill Entertainment, Freshco and a special thank-you to Jeremy Hewitt the manager of The Fergus Zehrs who donated over 50 prizes!! The generous donations added a new level of excitement to the tournament. My goal next year is to collect a prize for every participant!! Thank-you to all that were involved. Stay tuned we have been asked to run a LL/Rep 3 on 3 in May!
