Our Community is amazing! This past Friday night the “Puck U” men’s ball hockey team put on a fundraiser for the McDougall family in their fight against colon cancer. I (the mother of four) was diagnosed with metastasized cancer in November and the team has been with me every step of the way. I would like to express my gratitude to the local businesses for donating space to hold the event, and outstanding door prizes. Thank you so much to all those who put in time making food, organizing tickets, games, beverages etc. and to those who came to support the family. Together you raised almost nine thousand dollars. That’s what community is all about. You are wonderful people, we will always remember what you have done for us! Kerry McDougall
