Dear Editors;
Over the last decade I have been very critical of Premier
Wynne’s hydro electric policy. This week she promised over
$100 million to promote natural gas lines in rural Ontario.
So, at the crack of dawn on Friday morning, I raced to Zehr’s to grab a copy of the Advertiser. No doubt, there would be letters from many township mayors begging to be
first in line to receive priority access to the natural gas
lines……especially and selfishly, those for Puslinch.
Alas, I trundled home, disappointed by the lack of any plea
from Mayor Leaver. The opportunity of a lifetime squandered.
Yours truly,
Jim McClure,
Crieff, Ontario.
