Dear Editor:
The new Bill S-223 has firearm owners shaking their heads. What is the government expecting of us? If it is trying to reduce gun violence, that is an interesting way of going about it – what kind of criminal obeys laws and regulations that go against his activities? The only thing that this bill is about to do is make it more difficult for firearm owners to obtain, keep, and shoot guns. If the government wishes to reduce gun violence, perhaps it should do a better job at targeting the criminals, not the law-abiding citizens; or better yet, ban all video games, movies that glorify violence, and all music that contains violent insinuations
