RE: Almost immoral, Jan. 23.
The letter written by Helen Marucci from Fergus says it all. We are in our 80s and do not need all the extra stuff.
Things have gone totally out of control; sometimes you have to pay $1 more because you only needed one of the item, not two.
The elderly, and poor, and people living alone do not need to be treated this way. It is time for all grocery stores to stop this terrible practice.
