There will be two 4-H Lego engineering clubs this summer.
One will be in the mini-camp format, the other a more traditional evening meeting spread out over several weeks. For those who attended the March break mini camp there will be new challenges and this will be considered Lego engineering part two, and will count as another project.
People may attend the evening project classes and the mini camp and will find different challenges. Those who have attended all the Lego projects so far, this summer’s projects will have more advanced challenges.
Meetings will be held at Mimosa United Church
The summer mini- camp dates are July 15, 16 and 17 from 9am to 3:30pm. Bring a lunch and drinks each day.
Lego engineering two will run 6:45 to 9:45pm, July 14, 21, 28 and Aug.11.
The achievement program for both clubs will be held either August 12 or 18 from 6:45 to 9:30pm at Mimosa United Church.
For those taking this as their first 4-H project, a membership fee of $75 is payable to Wellington County 4-H Association. Those who are already 4-h members, remember to bring membership cards with numbers. They should have received them in the mail by now. Members must be 10 years old as of 2007 and not be older than 21 as of Jan. 1.
