The Wellington Catholic District School Board has announced that Larry Clifford is its new superintendent of program.
Clifford will assume the portfolios of special education and secondary student success, both of which are aligned with the Ministry of Education goals of enhanced student achievement, reduction in educational success gaps for some students, and the increased level of confidence in publicly funded education in Ontario.
Clifford has been a superintendent of education with the Halton Catholic District School Board and with that experience will continue the work of former superintendent, Dom DiBartolomeo who will be working in a senior role with the Ministry of Education in Toronto.
Superintendent Don Drone made the announcement of the hiring in a statement earlier this week.
