The Lakeside Living Home Tour returns on June 14.
The Puslinch Lake Conservation Association Fundraising committee started the Home Tour event in 2005 as an additional way to raise funds for the ongoing cleanup of Puslinch Lake (the largest kettle lake in Canada).
Up to a dozen pontoon boats are available for tour day. All the involved boat owners volunteer their boat, gas, and time for this event, and it is much appreciated. Most boats can accommodate up to about eight people.
The boat tour takes approximately 2.5 hours.
Volunteers are at all designated dock locations, ready to assist the boats’ arrivals and departures; and numerous volunteers offer their time in the designated homes, greeting, directing, and answering questions about the home and/or the Lake.
The Tour by boat begins at the Old Marina restaurant where people gather for the 10am start. People can also take the tour by land using their own vehicle.
The tour runs from 10am to 4pm.
Tickets cost $25 for either land or boat and can be purchased prior to the event date. There is a number of tickets available for purchase at each of the featured homes on the tour as well.
