KIPP – Bagels were the order of the day on July 17 when the Kitchen in the Park Project (KIPP) oven in Bissell Park was fired up for the second time this year during the pandemic.
Sonia Cheng from the Elora Bread Company prepared around 450 bagels for the day which were quickly sold out. People would go to the Elora Farmers Market and then stop by the oven to take home a treat of freshly baked bagels.
The next KIPP oven event will be July 31 when pizzas will be baked in the outdoor oven.
