Key projects open house on Oct. 22

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The township is bringing its Connect CW concept to residents with an open house. 

The key projects open house is an opportunity for residents to meet with staff and project team members on major township initiatives, officials say. 

Residents will learn about key projects and have opportunities to ask questions.

The event will follow a drop-in format from 6 to 8pm at the Fergus sportsplex.

 Key projects showcased:

 – 2025 budget;

– parks and recreation master plan;

– active transportation and mobility plan;

– economic development and tourism plan;

– Centre Wellington Fire Rescue;

– Community Connect;

– Fergus Business Park;

– parking enforcement;

– St. David Street Reconstruction Phase 2;

– Farley Neighbourhood Park and Storybrook Phase II Park;

– Colborne Street (John St. to Wilson St.);

– OLG;

– by-law and licencing;

– County of Wellington emergency management;

– Hill Street (Herrick St. to Gartshore St.) reconstruction;

– housing needs assessment;
