Since its publication 100 years ago, John McCrae’s In Flanders Fields has inspired artists of all kinds.
The poem has been set to music; answered in verse; and been transformed into large-scale works of installation art.
Now it is being interpreted by Guelph and Wellington County artists as part of a Guelph Museums juried art show, Remembering In Flanders Fields. The exhibit, opens on March 27, and is one of a number of initiatives Guelph Museums is planning to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the poem.
Guelph Civic Museum is located at 52 Norfolk St.
