Are you from Puslinch or the Guelph area and interested in joining Junior Farmers?
Then the Puslinch Junior Farmers is the place to be.
Dale Sutton is planning on bringing the club back and says “it would be great to have it in our area again.”
Junior Farmers is open young people who are 15 to 29 before Jan. 1.
Sutton says it’s an organization that helps out in the community and works with other associations within the county such as the Optimist club and the agricultural society.
Sutton stressed, “You don’t have to live on a farm. You get to meet people from other parts of the province and there are events that happen throughout the year. For example, winter games, autumn profile and sing swing. Other clubs also hold their own events too.
Sutton said that those looking for more information on Junior Farmers can visit jfao.on.ca for details.
Sutton will be at the Aberfoyle Fall Fair on Sept. 12 for those wishing to talk to him directly.
He added, “There will be a Facebook page to join if you’re interested.”
Sutton’s email is wentworthjf_dalesutton@hotmail.com.
