There is lots to do next weekend as Arthur celebrates Canada Day.
Arthur’s annual 3-Pitch tournament begins on June 30 and runs until July 2 at the Arthur fair grounds.
On July 1 the day begins with the 5th annual Get In Tough For Hutch 1 and 5km walk/run at 9am, also at the fair grounds. The race will be followed by the grand opening of the Arthur splash pad at noon, a pavilion dance from 9pm to 1am and fireworks at dusk.
On July 2 there will be a barbecue chicken dinner at the Arthur and Area Community Centre from 4 to 7pm for $15 with advanced tickets. Sunday will conclude with an open air screening of Born Leader: The Boss Baby at approximately 9:15pm at the fair grounds.
