Based on Frank Capra’s holiday classic movie, and re-created for the stage by Doug Rand It’s a Wonderful Life will be on stage at the Fergus Grand Theatre from Nov. 4 to 13.
The show tells the tale of how George Bailey, with the help of an angel, comes to see what life would have been like had he never been born, and learns how wonderful life truly is.
Elora Community Theatre director Deb Stanson assisted by Kevin F. Johnston guide the 41 member cast.
William Brezden performs the lead role of George Bailey. Laura Hunter plays Mary Hatch Bailey, while Gary Seibert plays guardian angel Clarence on a mission to earn his wings and John Dibben plays the role of the greedy Mr. Potter.
ECT is encouraging audience members to bring nonperishable items to the theatre to support the Centre Wellington Food Bank during the run of the show.
