Interactive artwork venue

This weekend, the Rural Arts Project is presenting the community’s first Interactive Art Jamboree.

From 12pm to 3pm on Sept. 9, participants are welcome to contribute to the creation of spontaneous, collaborative art with fellow jammers.

A Gorge Glass Mosaic will be in Victoria Park with local treasures fitting together in an unending puzzle, the vision of a cleaner gorge. The Elora Centre for the Arts will host a Paint Bombing – a combination of waterballoons and paint. Participants get lobbing paint bombs to create some explosive art.

A Musical Jam will be in Elora’s newest greenspace at the intersection of Mill and Metcalfe Streets.

The Saran Wrap Street Art in Bissell Park provides the chance to meet an upcoming street legend, and get some tips on giving the can quality sprays.

Finally, Video Expression at Bungalow 55 gives participants a chance to say or do anything on an anonymous video.
