Minto Dance Academy celebrates 40th anniversary

HARRISTON - The Minto Dance Academy (MDA) in Harriston has reached a milestone, celebrating its 40th season of dance.

The Elora Brewing Company and CanAussie Farms Inc. in Fergus came in second place in the Great Ontario-Hopped Craft Beer Competition this year with their Black IPA. The competition pairs Ontario craft breweries with Ontario hop producers to brew a one-off collaboration beer using only the hops of the local grower.

Granite Homes held a ground breaking ceremony on June 13 for Goodwin Estates, a community of 30 estate homes in Inverhaugh. From left are Centre Wellington councillor Kirk McElwain, Granite Homes’ new home specialist Monica Frauts, president Josh Bellamy and developer John Dunnink. An official sales launch for Goodwin Estates will be held on June 23 at 12pm at the model home at 43 Ariss Glen Drive in Ariss.
