GUELPH — Guelph home builder Terra View Homes, in partnership with The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital and other community sponsors, provided a traditional holiday dinner to Guelph General Hospital staff for the sixth consecutive year this Christmas.
“At Terra View Homes, we believe in being a meaningful contributor to our community,” stated Terra View Homes manager Madison Lambden in a press release.
“The holiday season offers a powerful opportunity to demonstrate our care. Our goal is to bring a moment of joy and support to those working tirelessly or facing challenging circumstances this Christmas.”
Julie Byczynski, CEO of the Foundation of Guelph General, said staff are grateful for the kindness of the community.
“Even during the holidays, care continues 24/7,” stated Byczynski.
“This thoughtful gesture symbolizes the gratitude we all feel for Guelph General, knowing that our hospital is there when we need it for our loved ones or ourselves.”

Providing housing programs and services for youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness, Wyndham House supports young people aged 16 to 25, helping them navigate challenging life circumstances.
Recently, there has been a surge of intakes at the emergency shelter, making Wyndham House an important destination for donations this year, officials said.
“The life-saving care from our hospital staff and the critical services provided by Wyndham House are essential to our community,” Lambden emphasized.
“Especially during the holidays, these contributions remind us of our shared humanity and the importance of supporting one another.”
