Historical society offers countys military past

The Wellington County Museum is offering a talk about the county’s military history on Nov. 6 at 2pm.
Guests will learn about Wellington County’s involvement in the military from the early 1800s to the present day.
The event is presented by the Wellington County Historical Society, and speaker Ross Irwin, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Wellington County Historical Society, will speak on the contributions and involvement of people from the county in historical and current military engagements.
The event is open to the public free of charge. It will be an afternoon of celebrating the county’s military achievements.
The presentation will be followed by discussion and refreshments.
