PUSLINCH – Since its restoration and reopening in 1963, summer services have been held each year (with the exception of the Covid period) at Historic Ellis Chapel in Puslinch.
This summer two non-denominational services will be held.
On July 16 the guest minister will be Rev. Kate Ballagh from Harcourt United Church in Guelph.
August 20 will mark the 162nd anniversary of the Chapel with guest minister Rev. Don McCallum from Duff’s Presbyterian Church in Puslinch.
A fall concert of barbershop and gospel music is planned for September 24 with Bakers Dozen from Guelph.
All are welcome to attend these events, which take place at 2:30 in the afternoon with refreshments and fellowship to follow in the Chapel garden.
The Chapel and its surroundings are a provincially recognized site and great care has been taken to restore and preserve the structure and its contents.
It is located at 6705 Ellis Road in Puslinch.
The Ellis Chapel is available for weddings, baptisms and memorial services during the summer months.
