Ontario is providing more than $20 million in funding to 328 festivals and events.
In a release, the province said festivals and events support tens of thousands of jobs in Ontario and generate millions of dollars in revenue.
Locally, the Hillside Festival, which will take place July 13 to 15, will receive $121,037 in funding; Music Weekends with Hillside Inside, which will take place Jan. 5 to March 10, 2019 will receive $27,286; and the Elora Festival, taking place from July 13 to 29, will receive $92,000 in funding.
