Fergus’ Highland Rugby U14s were successful over the weekend with two wins at the Provincial Festival in Markham at Fletcher’s Fields. Their first win was against the Oakville Knights with a score of 55-5 and their second game was a win against the Markham Irish 29-22. This ends the U14’s season on a positive note with all the players earning silver medals.
The core team will be travelling to Wales this coming March Break for an exciting tour so watch for some fundraising events including a Yuk Yuks night on Nov. 12 at the Fergus Sportsplex.
A group of players from this team will continue practicing for the Q-META Cup Junior Sevens Tournament in Brantford on Sept. 17.
