High-risk offender wanted by Guelph Police

GUELPH – The Guelph Police Service is warning people about a “high-risk” offender with a history of sexually assaulting strangers. 

Medhani Yohans was released from custody in Toronto on July 29. 

“The Guelph Police Service believes that Yohans poses a risk to the community, particularly to women, and is concerned that he may commit similar offences in the future,” states a press release. 

Yohans has a history in Guelph dating back to 2017, and his whereabouts are presently unknown.

He is described as a 5’9” tall 35-year-old Black man, with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes.

Yohans is currently wanted by the Guelph Police Service and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. It is not known if Yohans will or has returned to Guelph.
