The Arboretum at the University of Guelph is planning a Hawk Workshop which will help participants develop skills in identifying migrating hawks, falcons, vultures, eagles and osprey.
The one-day workshop is on Sept. 6 from 9am to 4pm.
Through hands-on activities participants will learn about plumage, body shape, foraging techniques, flight patterns and migration times of 15 species.
