CENTRE WELLINGTON – Staff has been crunching the numbers, council is preparing for deliberations, and now residents are encouraged to participate in the township’s annual budgeting process.
The 2024 Budget Engagement Survey is now open for input to shape next year’s budget.
“Our goal is to develop a budget for 2024 that meets both the needs of our residents, and addresses the current economic conditions in Centre Wellington,” says Mayor Shawn Watters.
“We want to have the best possible understanding of our community’s needs, priorities, and expectations as we enter the 2024 budget deliberations.”
Your experience living in Centre Wellington matters – and township staff want to know how services and program delivery make a difference in your life, officials say.
The online engagement survey will allow residents to share their feedback directly with township staff.
The budget survey on Connect CW will be open from Oct. 10 to Nov. 7. Feedback will be shared with council to help form their decision-making throughout budget deliberations.
