GUELPH/ERAMOSA – If you’re thinking of taking the family out for breakfast on Saturday morning, think about swinging by Speedside United Church.
Speedside is holding its Farmers Breakfast on Nov. 26 from 8 to 9:30am.
Breakfast features sausage and eggs on a bun, home fries and beans and it’s by donation.
Proceeds go to the Centre Wellington Food Bank and the EPC Food Grains project, an international food insecurity initiative.
“We’re doing a takeout again this year,” said organizer Bruce Miller.
“We hope people will be generous. While we normally held fundraisers for the church, we think the food banks need it this year.”
The church would prefer if people placed their orders ahead of time but walk-ins will be served if there’s enough food.
The church is located at the intersection of Wellington Roads 22 and 29.
To place a breakfast order call Miller at 519-822-1731 or email bmillerhl@hotmail.com.
