BELWOOD – Centre Wellington Township is holding a meeting about proposed Belwood Hall renovations on Feb. 11, followed by a mayor’s town hall.
The renovation working group meeting will look at proposed renovations to the hall and explore key areas of the project, officials say.
The hope is to set a clear plan and timeline for completion of the project, according to a township news release.
Areas of potential renovation include the:
- washroom;
- front entrance;
- kitchen/servery;
- hall floor and windows; and
- stage/storage.
Mayor Shawn Watters will then hold a town hall to provide updates on upcoming projects and share news about what’s happening in the community.
Watters is usually open to taking questions from the audience.
The town hall working group discussion runs from 6 to 7:30pm and the mayor’s townhall from 7:30 to 9pm.
Belwood Hall is located at 37 Queen St. in Belwood.
