Police are investigating the theft of six guns during one of two daytime break-ins here last week.
On April 3 at about 2:20pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a break-in at a house on Eramosa-Garafraxa Townline in Centre Wellington.
Police say someone pried open a patio door between 11am and 2pm and stole six long guns as well as ammunition, cash, a Toshiba laptop, a 50-inch RCA television and jewelry.
The OPP is looking to identify the owner of a black SUV seen in the area prior to the incident.
Police are also investigating a second break-in, reported on the same day at about 2pm, on the 3rd Line of Centre Wellington.
In that incident someone forced open a rear door of the house and stole personal documents, jewelry, a Toshiba computer, Nikon camera and a 32-inch RCA television.
