Guelph Scouts host annual plant swap and compost fundraiser

Kortright Hills Neighbourhood Group and 26th Guelph Scouting Group are holding the 4th Annual Plant Swap & Compost Fundraiser.

The community is invited to join them on May 3, between 9am and 2pm at Kortright Hills Public School 23 Ptarmigan Dr., Guelph.

Drop off your plants at the KHNG community room (Side entrance of KHPS), Friday evening May 2 between 6pm and 7pm. Labeling materials will be available. Come back on the morning of May 3 to pick a new plant for your home gardens.

Plant swapping is easy, saves you time and money, and is great for the environment. Donate a plant and receive a plant.

The compost fundraiser is being held in order to help raise money for Venture youth and leaders to attend a jamboree in Eastern Canada this August. Pre-order bags of compost for your garden by emailing khng@bellnet.ca and/or come by May 3 to pick some up.
